Loyalty Points

Our loyalty programme rewards you for shopping with Turtle Island. You earn points on qualifying purchases and redeem them for discount vouchers — no card to carry and nothing to sign up for beyond a customer account. All points and voucher values below are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).
Earning Points
- You earn 10 points for every $1 spent, calculated on your order subtotal (before shipping and tax).
- Points are credited once payment is confirmed and you must be signed in to your account at checkout for an order to earn — guest checkouts don't accrue points.
- You can earn a one-time bonus of 100 points the first time you subscribe to our email updates.
- If an order is refunded, the points earned on the refunded amount are reversed.

Redeeming Points
Points accumulate across orders — there's no need to reach a tier in a single purchase. Once you have enough, redeem them from your Rewards page for a discount voucher:

- Redeeming generates a personal discount code tied to your account.
- Each voucher is single-use and valid for 90 days from the date you redeem it.
- A voucher applies up to your order total. If its value is more than your order, the difference isn't refunded or carried over — so it's best used on an order at least as large as the voucher.
- Vouchers can't be combined with other discount codes or promotions, but they can still be used alongside free-shipping offers.
- Vouchers have no cash value and can't be exchanged for cash.
Points Expiry
To keep the programme fair and active for everyone, points will expire after 90 days of inactivity — that is, 90 days with no points earned or redeemed on your account.
- Any qualifying purchase or redemption resets the clock and keeps your full balance active.
- We'll always send you an email reminder before your points are due to expire, so you have time to use them. (Reminders are sent to the email address on your account where you've opted in to hear from us.)
- When points expire, the balance is removed and can't be reinstated.
Product Eligibility
Some products are excluded from earning loyalty points. These exclusions typically apply to sale items and selected high-demand or limited-release lines (such as certain sealed TCG products), as well as pre-orders or items with already-reduced margins — most products still earn. Eligible product pages show how many points you'll earn; products that don't earn points simply won't display that. You can still use your reward vouchers on any product — the exclusion only affects earning. Turtle Island reserves the right to adjust loyalty eligibility on specific items at any time. General Terms
- Points and vouchers have no cash value, are tied to your account, and aren't transferable between accounts.
- Points can't be sold, combined across separate accounts, or earned on the purchase of vouchers themselves.
- We may adjust or remove points awarded in error, or in connection with cancelled, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
- We may change or end the loyalty programme, including earn rates, voucher tiers, and expiry rules, at any time. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
